1. Information we collect
We process the resume text, uploaded resume files, job descriptions, and instructions you submit so we can provide resume analysis and generation. These materials may contain identifiers, contact details, employment history, education, and other information you choose to include.
If you sign in or purchase a paid service, we also process account information such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, purchase status, and support correspondence. Our payment provider processes payment details; ResumeDuo does not receive or store full card numbers.
We may collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, error logs, and product usage events to secure, operate, and improve the service.
2. How we use information
- Provide, personalize, and troubleshoot resume generation.
- Authenticate users and complete purchases.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Respond to support and refund requests.
- Understand aggregate product performance and comply with law.
3. AI processing and service providers
To generate results, submitted resume and job-description content may be sent to configured AI infrastructure and model providers. We also use service providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, email, and payments. They process data only to provide their services to us and under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments.
4. Storage and retention
Anonymous resume and job-description content is processed to answer your request and is not intentionally saved as a persistent user document by ResumeDuo. Your browser may keep a local draft so your work can survive sign-in or checkout. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser storage.
Account, transaction, security, and support records may be retained for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet tax and accounting obligations, and protect against abuse. Data may remain temporarily in backups and provider logs.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers when necessary to operate ResumeDuo, with professional advisers when needed, during a legitimate business transaction, or when required to comply with law and protect rights or safety.
6. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, or request a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Security and children
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online system is completely secure. ResumeDuo is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes and contact
